In My Own Words...
Why I Became a Doctor:
Growing up in a small East Texas town, the opportunity to pitch on a collegiate level was always my dream. Visiting universities and attending scouting camps was the highlight of my high school baseball career.
An injury my junior year put that dream in jeopardy, but also introduced me to my first chiropractic mentor. Half way through a promising senior baseball season I suffered a shoulder injury that ended the prospect of a baseball career.
The pain of an unfulfilled dream only sparked another: the dream to prevent this loss for other young athletes.
Specializing in Sports:
During my final year in chiropractic school I was blessed to be able to intern under one of Dallas-Fort Worth's premier sports chiropractors.

The opportunity afforded me all the sports opportunities I could have hoped for: pulled hamstrings, shoulder injuries, high school athletes, and too many professional athletes to name.
As a regular CrossFit attendee and sports enthusiast, this was a professional dream come true!
The Patient I Couldn't Help:
I never imagined my favorite patient during my internship wouldn't be an athlete. He was just a regular guy with a bold personality, a zest for a life, and in a major health crisis.
You see, he couldn't even sit up on my chiropractic table without negatively affecting his blood pressure because he was severely overweight.
I realized every day I didn't provide him with a solution to overcome his health concerns beyond his back pain, I doomed him to a life of unfulfilled dreams.
That was the day I decided to focus becoming a wellness expert.
Since then I have spent countless hours focusing my post graduate education on human physiology, lifestyle modification, and nutrition to learn how to overcome the obstacles of a life burdened by dysfunction and disease.
